Danny Uhlmann is an American-born photographer and writer based in Chamonix, France. His focus is on the people of the high mountainous and remote regions of the earth. He has documented cutting edge science in the remote interior of Antarctica, seldom visited parts of Afghanistan, and currently is working with traditional dairy farmers in the high regions of the French Alps; a project he began as part of VII Photo Masterclass in Milan.
